The 2 largest religions in the world are Christianity and Islam. Once one looks at the history of these 2 religions, it becomes quite obvious why both religions are well known for their hypocrisy, ignorance, and use of violence in spreading their respective doctrines. Both religions believe in the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Christians hate gays, Muslims hate gays. Christians don't believe in science, Muslims don't believe in science. Christians hate Jews, Muslims hate Jews. Christianity was violently spread by Romans throughout Europe and was, later, violently spread throughout the New World by other Europeans. Similarly, Islam was violently spread by the Arabs, Persians, and Monghols throughout Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Its baffling to me why these two religions dont get along more. On paper, everything should be all good. But we all know the reality. For Christians, you either believe in Jesus as the Son of God or you go to Hell. For Muslims, you either admit that there is One God and Muhammed is His Prophet or you go to Hell.
Ever since the Crusades, Christians and Muslims have had some real beef over this incredibly idiotic difference of belief. Thats why Pope Benedict is over in Turkey trying to act like he doesn't believe that Islam is a violent religion and that Muslims go to Hell for their lack of faith in Jesus. The Pope, when he was a cardinal, even spoke out against Turkey joining the European Union, which was basically Pope Benedict's way of saying that Europe is a Christian continent. Bad move and pretty Un-Christian.... I can give the Pope props for having the guts to go to a Muslim country after the Regensburg speech controversy tho. The controversy is probably the reason that Pope now suddenly supports Turkey joining the EU. But we all know that a trip to Turkey by the Pope won't change Islam's attitude toward the West and Christianity. It may even be making it worse. And let me emphasize once more, these 2 faiths should be the best of friends. Its too bad that each faith feels the need to hate the other, because they feel that they have the truth about their big, imaginary Father-figure in the sky. I have no idea how this clash of faiths will end. I, and other rational secular people, just hope that a huge war doesn't emerge out of all this tension. PEACE!

Repent! There is a God. This is no joke Ashoka. Before this entry I was writing this extremely long beautiful piece of blasphemy--then--all of a sudden for no apparent reason, no computer problem could explain it, but my computer froze for a second and the entry disappeared--deleted. Can you explain that? Don't be so naive and chock it as a coincidence, not this. This was a brilliant blanket of blasphemies, real horrid heresy, and then poof--disappeared. Repent!
